We at Dirty Protest are super passionate about new writing - heck it's why we set the company up. But let's face it, do we all have the time, patience and, dare we say it, talent to knock out a cracking, award-winning play? In a nutshell no. BUT, does that mean you shouldn't/can't write? HECK NO.
So we are keen to invite everyone, and anyone, to submit some mini plays, let's call them FLASH PLAYS to be performed as part of our Christmas Songbook nights at Chapter in December. Longer than a Twitter post, but shorter than your annoying friend's latest Facebook rant we want your 30-second Flash Plays inspired by Christmas songs.
The songs are below. So all you need to do is pick one, get your thinking cap on and write us something. Send it to info@dirtyprotesttheatre.co.uk and we will try and perform as many as possible over the 4 nights. And if you are stuck for some writing tips or inspiration keep checking our social media and follow the hashtag #flashplays and we'll give you some tips.
